Show Services held for William E. Cooper William Edward Cooper, Coop-er, 76, a 28-year Moab resident, died March 31, 1978 in Provo, and funeral services were held April 4 at First Baptist Church. He was born Jan. 12, 1902 in Logan, Okla., to George and Mary McVick-er McVick-er Cooper. He married Lenora Hager and they were later divorced. He moved to Moab from Cor-tez, Cor-tez, Co. Survivors include 3 sons, Ronnie, Moab; CCrge, Florida; Harry, Kentucky; 3 daughters, Ester Welch, Arizona; Karen Bennett, Cortez, and Billie Joe Tucker, Moab; a sister, Mrs. Rose Sharmhorst, Cortez; 19 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Rev. Ronnie Parker officiated at the services, with burial following in Sunset Memorial Cemetery Ceme-tery under the direction of Hefner Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Ray Alger, Al-ger, Bill Roedel, Lynn Pipkin, Dale Peterson, Jerry McNeely and Lloyd Scharf. |
