LIBRARY NOTES Participation in the questionnaire sent out in last week's paper has been light. Mrs. Fern Harmon states that she will make a concerted effort to see that the Grand County patrons of the library express their preference as soon as possible, so that the local Library Board cun muke pluns for the library. The week of April 2-8 is National Libniry week, find Librarian Kern llninon has made1 arrangement' arrange-ment' for a Story Hour on S:il unlay. Mrs. Judy Evans will conduct two sessions, the first at 2:30 for kindergarten to 3rd graders, and the last half hour, 3-3:30 for children up to the sixth grades. She suggests that parents pick up the smaller youngsters, young-sters, as they get tired and since the later story is for older children, they lose interest and create problems. Pre-schoolers have not been included in this particular progrum, but perhaps they con be fitted in this summer some time. The library has something some-thing for everyone, Mrs. Harmon says. Lately she Ikim added a book on GUIDES, GHOSTS AND GUESTS which is a delightful fir.it approach to l.lie occult. |
