Show Grover-Woods Wedding Event Feb. Newlyweds Leave On Honeymoon Highlighting society news at Mapleton this Vee, the wedding of Miss Mary Grover, daughter of Mr . Mrs Leo Grover of Mapleton and Blaine Woods, J. Mr. and Mrs. Amos Woods ol Spanish Fork. The ceremony took place at the home of the bridegroom's parents, as the couple stood before a flower-banked fireplace lighted with tall white tapers. The bride was charming in a watermelon-red suit with blue accessories and orchid corsage. She was attended by Mrs. Georgenia Holfeltz Ludlow. Bill Ludlow was best man for the groom. Mrs. Grover chose a black afternoon af-ternoon dress for her daughter's wedding and Mrs. Woods also wore black with aqua trim. Both wore red-rosebud corsages. The bride was honored at a pre-nuptial pre-nuptial party at the Mapleton ward hall last Thursday evening with approximately 75 relatives and friends in attendance. Mrs. Pearl Holley was mistress of ceremonies cer-emonies and announced the program pro-gram of music and readings. Lunch concluded the entertainment. entertain-ment. After their wedding Friday, the young couple left on a honeymoon trip during which they plan to visit scenic spots in Southern California, Cal-ifornia, Mexico and Arizona. They plan to make their home in Spanish Span-ish Fork. |
