Show ' : 4 Ostler-ird ptials T old Announcement was made this week of the marriage of Miss Tess Ostler, daughter of Mrs. Charles Ostler, to Byard K. Bird, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Bird. The marriage took place Friday night with Bishop A. G. Peterson performing the ceremony. LOUISE SNYDER WAS MARRIED AT EVANSTON during the past week to Marion F. Clark. Both the young people are from Springville and will make their home here. A SOCIALLY SUCCESSFUL AND ENTERTAINING party of the summer season was that given by Mrs. Nell W. Condie and Mrs. Ida C. Bird at Sulphur Springs in Hobble Creek canyon on Friday night. Nearly 30 friends made up the guest list. Early in the evening, from three long tables centered with beautiful bouquets of asters and other summer sum-mer flowers, a delicious chicken dinner with all the trimmings was served. After dinner, the group assembled assem-bled around a huge bonfire and with Mrs. Emma Gardner acting informally as toastmaster of the evening, each guest participated in a delightful and entertaining program of stunts, stories, readings read-ings and other forms of amusement. amuse-ment.
