Qouple Takes Wedding ows In Temple Highlighting social events of th week was the wedding of Elaine Crandall, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. V. Crandall of this city, and Waldo W. Jackson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Jackson, also of Springville, which took place Friday, Feb. 24, in the Salt Lake temple. The ceremony was witnessed by a group of immediate immedi-ate relatives. Complimenting the couple, a wedding reception was held Saturday Sat-urday evening at the home' of the bride's parents, which approximately approxi-mately 250 relatives and friends attended. The bride was charmingly attired in a white satin wedding gown entrain. Her veil, fingertip length, was edged in silk lace with silk lace tierra. She carried a beautiful bouquet of white and orchid colored orchids with gardenias gar-denias and a shower of tiny pink rosebuds and white satin ribbon. In the receiving line were Mr. and Mrs. Crandall, Mrs. Jackson and members of the bridal party, including Carma Crandall, sister of the bride, maid of honor; Dona Rae Fullmer, Salt Lake City, Mrs. Margaret P. Dean and Delia Baxter, Bax-ter, bridesmaids, and little Eliza Nan Harward, in blue, was flower girl. Harold Robinson of San I Francisco, Cal., was best man. The brides's attendants wore idential gowns, the maid-of-hon-or wore blue with lace bodice and net skirt, the others in pink, of similar design. Each held nosegays nose-gays of corresponding colors. ,-Mrs. Hugh Baxter was acting hostess. The serving table held a beautiful beau-tiful floral centerpiece with tall tapers on either end. In charge of the serving were Mrs. Hortense Harward, Aleen McKenzie, Clara Harmer, Arlene Christensen, Mrs. Leona J. Miller, Mrs. Louise C. Snow, San Bernardino, Cal., and friends of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Loween Whiting, Norma Jackson and Mrs. Udell Jackson assisted in the gift rooms. The newlyweds left immediately immediate-ly after the reception .for a honeymoon hon-eymoon trip to San Francisco. |
