' ' . . r - I - X h Mrs. Earl Hansen, formerly Glenna Baker Miss Glenna Baker Exchanges Vows With Earl Hansen In Temple Rites Among the loveliest of spring weddings was trial of Miss Glenna Baker and Earl Hansen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Hansen of American Fork, wfiicK took place on jApril 14, m the Salt Lake Temple, with President Robert D. Young performing the ceremony. The same evening of their marriage, mar-riage, a reception honored the newlyweds in the Second ward hall, given by the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Baker. In a gown of white slipper satin, sat-in, the bride was charming. Her wedding dress was fashioned with long sleeves, net yoke and lace ruffles down the entire skirt. Her finger-tip veil was held in place by orange blossoms and her bouquet was of lilies and red roses. Mrs. Martha K. Knotts in a gown of lavender, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Marilyn Davis, Dorothy Hansen, Delpha Baker, Shirley Whiting and La-Preal La-Preal Hansen, They were dressed in lime green and wore corsages of pink and white carnations. Wendell Wen-dell Nelson of American Fork stood with the groom as best man. The bride's train was carried by Elaine Hansen and Johnny Baker, who were dressed as miniature minia-ture bride and groom. The program for the reception was announced by toastmaster Arnold Ar-nold Barney. Miss Norma Weight entertained With a vocal solo; Joan Marsh, a reading; Bernell McKenzie, an accordion selection; Elaine Barton, a piano selection, she was also accompanist jfor other musical numbers. Refreshments were served by girl friends of the bride and the gift room was in charge of Mrs. Beverly White, Betty Breddison and LaJuana Christensen. After the reception, the couple left on a wedding trip to southern Utah and California and are now making their home in Provo. |
