Show FUNERAL FRIDAY, 2 P. M., FOR ELI H. YOUNG Eli Herbert Young, 73, resident of this city since 1937, died at a Pro-vo Pro-vo hospital Monday following a short illness. He was born at Mona, April 5, 1873, a son of Branch and Per-melia Per-melia Babcock Young. He attended attend-ed school at Mona, ' also at the Brigham Young Academy, Provo, , and at business college in Salt Lake City. He was a successful farmer and stockman. He married Annie Parkin at Ne-phi, Ne-phi, June 17, 1902. They moved to Springville in 1937 and were making their home at 488 East Center St. Surviving, besides his widow, are one daughter, Mrs. Zelma Romney of Oswego, N. Y., also four grandchildren and a brother, Alonzo Young, Payson. . Funeral services will be conducted conduct-ed Friday at 2 p. m., in the Fourth ward chapel, directed by J. N. Bearnson, i bishop of the Fifth ward. Friends may call at the Claudin funeral home "this evening and until Friday at 10 a. m., when the body will be taken to the residence, resi-dence, 408 East Center, until the time of the services. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery. |
