Show FUNERAL HELD SATURDAY FOR MRS. T. R. GREENER Many friends and relatives paid tributes of respect to the life of Mrs. Lucinda Jane Peterson Greener, Green-er, at" funeral services held Saturday Satur-day afternoon in the First ward chapel. Burial was in the Evergreen Ever-green cemetery, directed by Claudin Claud-in funeral home. Mrs. Greener died last Wednesday Wednes-day at a Provo hospital following a long illness resulting from a stroke. She was born in Beaver, January Janu-ary 29, 1872, a daughter of John and Permelia Howd Peterson. She was married to Thomas R. Greener Green-er at Joseph, Sevier county, October Oc-tober 27, 1888. For a number of years the family resided at Hinckley, Hinck-ley, where Mrs. Greener was active ac-tive in church work, holding among other positions , that of counselor in the Relief Society. She had been active in church work since coming to Springville, being a member of a genealogical temple committee for fifteen years. She had been a Relief Society teacher for approximately 'forty years. iShe is survived by her husband and three sons and a daughter, Mrs. Permelia Felix, Springville; John T. Greener, Heber City; James A. and Alvin R. Greener of Helper; also seventeen grandchildren; grandchil-dren; a half-brother, William Johnson, John-son, and a half-sister, Mrs. Minerva Miner-va Sylvester, Salt Lake City. |
