Show Services Held In Salt Lake City For Former Resident Funeral services were conducted j Wednesday in Salt Lake City, for j Mrs. Hanna Friel Davis, 88, sis- j ter of G. W. Friel of this city and a former resident of Springville, who died Monday of ailments incident in-cident to age. Burial was in Parker, Idaho. Born in Springville, March 11, 1863. daughter of Edward and Margaret Herbel Friel, Mrs. Davis taught school here for many years. She was married to Samuel M. Davis in Springville, October 5, 1891. He died Jan. 30, 1908. Mrs. Davis lived in Parker, Ida., for 20 years. She also served as a school trustee. Mrs. Davis has resided in Salt Lake City and Las Vegas, Nev., for the past several years. Survivors include two sons, Samuel Sam-uel F. and George E. Davis of Las Vegas, Nev. and Los Angeles, Cal., respectively; two daughters, Mrs. Madge Ritchie and Mrs. Portia Crandall, Salt Lake City; two brothers, bro-thers, Garnet W. and Charles C. Grlel of Springville and San Francisco, Fran-cisco, Calif., respectively; one stepdaughter, step-daughter, Mrs. Ella Henrichs, Los Angeles; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. |
