Show I Services Held In Springlake For Geo. Bartholomew lnTral services were conducted Monday at Spring La e for George M. Bartholomew, 65 well-Kna former resident of Springville, who died at his home at Spring Lake Thursday from a sudden illness. Burial was in the Fayette ceme- He was born Oct. 29, 1884, m Fayette, Utah, the son of George M. and Salena Roper Barthok,-mew. Barthok,-mew. He married Charlotte , M. Berner in the Salt Lake temple The couple lived in Salt Lake City for three years and then moved to Springville, where they remained re-mained 17 years, moving to Spring Lake six years ago. - He served as bishop of the Fayette Fay-ette LDS ward for seven years ana filled a mission to the Southern States in 1906-08. He alo served on local stake missions, on genealogical genea-logical committees and as a ward He is survived by the widow, four sons, Lee of Springville; Ben of Richfield; John Grant of Salt Lake City and Roy Mark of Spring Lake; six daughters, Marie Lar-sen, Lar-sen, Salt Lake City; Virgil Page, Roosevelt; Grace Roberts, Brig-ham Brig-ham City; Helen Crawford, Lehi; Gertrude Smith, C-rem, and Edna Gourley. Ogden; also 27 grandchildren; grand-children; one sister, Effie Scott, Nephi; three brothers, Floyd Bartholomew, Bar-tholomew, Springville; Lloyd and Blaine Bartholomew, Fayette. |
