Show Funeral Services Saturday for Mrs. Martindale Funeral services will be conducted con-ducted Saturday at 2 p.m. in tho Third-Ninth ward chapel for Mrs. Lois Catherine Sanford Martin-dale, Martin-dale, 67, wife of E. H. Martindale, who died Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. at the family residence, 54 North First East Street. Friends my call at the homo Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. and before be-fore the services Saturday. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery under direction of Berg mortuary. Mrs. Martindale was born in Springville September 28, 1886, a daughter of early pioneer settlers, Cyrus N. and Mary Jane Hunt Sanford. She spent her early life in Springville, attending schools in this community.. She was married to Mr. Martindale Martin-dale September 26, 1913, and they made their home in Richfield, Ida., for a number of years. They later moved to Mapleton and lived there for a time before coming to this city. Mrs. Martindale was an active member of the LDS church and had served as a Relief Society teacher. She was also a member of the DUP Camp Springville. Surviving besides her husband are six sons and daughters: Ted J. Martindale, Russell E. Blackett, Mrs. Dennis (Kathryn) Robertson and Miss Mary Jane Martindale of Springville; Mrs. Lewis (Margaret) (Mar-garet) Wing of Mapleton; Mrs. Kenneth (Oretta) Woods of Provo; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild; five brothers and sisters, sis-ters, Frank Sanford, Mrs. A. O. (Nettie) Thorn, Springville; Mrs. Dilce Clyde, Parma, Idaho; Mrs. Bert (Iva) Llewellyn, Helper; Fern Sanford, Bakersfield, Calif. |
