The water has been pumped from the shaft, which will be dropped another twenty-five feet, in order to reach the tunnel level, the compressor will be installed, in-stalled, and the work will go forward from both faces uninterruptedly, and ground will be broken Just as fast as all the force available, aided by the best machinery, can do it. . Of developments tn the mine proper, where such Immense bodies of high-grade high-grade ore have been revealed by the season's campaign, the superintendent reports conditions as improving daily, the entire force, aside from the men employed in tunnel work being now engaged en-gaged in blocking out ore. |
