Show JURY DISAGREES IN CASE OF A CRIPPLE John Boss, who is an invalid for life as the result of an accident suffered by him in the Centennial Eureka mine two years ago, and is paralyzed, will receive no damages from the company at this time, owing to the opinions of two of the Jurors. Boss sued the company for $50,000 and the case was tried for the second time, before the Federal court. The Jury retired re-tired at 4 o'clock yesterday and returned re-turned at 9 o'clock, having disagreed. Ten stood for the plaintiff, while two held out for the defendant. The Jury was discharged and the case win, of necessity, be retired. |
