Show Mrs. Shelby Lisonbe Reception Honors Young Couple; Married In Temple A wedding reception honoring Mr. , and Mrs. S. Ronald Lison-bee Lison-bee was held at the Duchesne Stake House Saturday, August 23. The bride was lovely jn her ballerina-length wedding gown of lace and nylon net over white taffeta. A finger-tip veil of while nylon net edged in lace, and a corsage of a single orchid, completed her costume. A table covered with an imported im-ported maderia embroidered cloth was centered with a beautiful beau-tiful three-tiered wedding cake topped with a miniature bride and groom. Arrangements of gladioli and red roses added to the decoration. Receptionist was Mrs. Frank Morrell, with friends of the bride. Ruth Walters, Carol Taylor, Tay-lor, Joann Shephard, Bertie Lis. onbee, Carol Ann and Darleen Brady, assisting with the gifU and in various capacities. j Mrs. Harold Warren, Mrs. Ar- den Peterson and Mrs. Tom Southhouse, were in charge of the serving assisted by Pauline Rasmussen, Elsie Dean. Bertha Rasmussen and Helen Neilsen. Mont Rasmussen was in charge of the program, which featured the following: Sherwood Sher-wood Lisonbee, vocal solo, accompanied ac-companied by Bertie Lisonbee; Larry Wilson, piano solo; Milton Mil-ton Poulson, reading; Arden Peterson, vocal solos, accompanied accompan-ied by Hazel Walters. Mr. and Mrs. Lisonbee are making their home in Bridge-land, Bridge-land, where Mr. Lisonbee is engaged en-gaged in farming. Out-of-the-Basin guests attending attend-ing the reception were: Mrs. Emma Rasmussen, Mj:. and Mrs. Que Rasmussen, their daughters. Gwen and Helen, and son Don; Boyd Payne, Mr. and Mrs. Mont Rasmussen, Mr. -and Mrs. Tom Southouse, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Beal and son, Jay; Mrs. Afton Johnson, Dr. and Mrs. Jack Harrison, Har-rison, Mrs. Dallas H. Young, Mr. and Mrs. Allan B. Sorensen, Mrs. Will Rasmussen. all of Pro-vo; Pro-vo; Mrs. Elizabeth Christensen, Mrs. Bertha Rasmussen, Mrs. Elsie El-sie Dean and daughter, Coleen; Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Pease, Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Lister, Mr. and Mrs. Arden Peterson, Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Pat McCourt, of Wellington; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Blanchard, of Rangely, Colorado. Col-orado. Mrs. Elizabeth Christensen has returned to her home in Salt Lake after visiting with her daughter and son-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee, for a week. A large crowd attended the funeral services for Wayne Shields, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wanless Shields, who was killed in Korea, July 27, 1950. The Bridgeland pqpple extend sincere sin-cere sympathy to' the family. Elva Lisonbee and daughter, Bertie, and Mrs. Wayne Jennings Jen-nings attended a bridal shower at Bluebell Thursday, honoring Mrs. Bessie Conder. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Beal, of Price, spent the weekend visiting visit-ing their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Austin Beal and Mr. and Mrs. Edmnud Bench. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Neilsen, of Wellington, spent the weekend week-end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vere Neilsen. Mr. and Mrs. Rowe Smith and children, of Provo, were weekend visitors at the home of. their parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Alma Smith. Lu Jean Jennings spent a few days last week visiting her sister, sis-ter, Mavis Williams, at Bluebell. Blue-bell. Mrs. Ada Southouse returned to her home in Provo Monday, after having spent the past week at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. El-den El-den Brady. |
