Show Golden Vedding Observed By Four Mrs. John Angus and Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Percival and family attended the Golden Wedding anniversary observance of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Merrell and Mr. and Mrs. Fuller Merrell held at the Naples Ward Hall last Saturday Sat-urday afternoon and evening. Frank and Fuller are brothers and were early Ioka homesteaders, homestead-ers, living here from 1907 until about 1919, when they moved to their present homes in Naples. Na-ples. The men did much to helo build both the Ioka and Upalco Ward houses, and both the men and their wive? were prominent in church activities, being heads I of Sunday Schools, MIA orgaai-zations, orgaai-zations, Primary organizations, i etc. The Merrells were one of the very first families to settle in Naples. Their wives, who were Mary and Christine Angus, with their parents were among the their parents, Mr. and Mrs. John A. Angus, were among the first settlers in Jensen. Both couples were married in the Salt Lake Temple and traveled trav-eled from Jensen in two wagons, accompanied by four close relatives. rel-atives. The trip took six days.
