Show FAMILY VISITS ON 7Glh BIRTHDAY 1 Mrs. Emma Solmonson was happily surprised Wednesday evening, May 6th, when the following dropped in to wish her a happy birthday on her 76th birthday: Mr. and Mrs. James - Solmonson, Marie, Don and Ila, of Roosevelt; Mr. and Mrs. Clair Duncan and children, of Neola; Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird, Deon, Delaine and Mildred Mil-dred Bird, of Arcadia, Mr. Duncan Dun-can showed some very interesting interest-ing pictures, after which ice cream and cake, was served. Mr. and Mrs. Wendle Evans visited during the week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chad Evans before Wendle reported back to the service. A family get-to-gether was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Ross on Mother's Day. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Marvin G. Shields, of Arcadia; Mr. and Mrs. Loryn Ross, of Pleasant Valley; Mr. and Mrs. Norman Labrum, of Roosevelt; Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Mecham, of Mt. Home, and all their families. fam-ilies. A very interesting Mother's Day program was given by the Arcadia ward Sunday School, Sunday. Each mother was presented pre-sented a lovely carnation. The following attended M.I.A. Leadership meeting in Duchesne Thursday night: Scott Lusty, James Larsen, LeGrande Gilbert, Gil-bert, Don Hickens, Howard Gilbert, Gil-bert, Lois Terpening, Deon Bird, Nancy Gilbert, Mildred Bird, Bessie Lusty. Gladys Cap-son, Cap-son, Donna Ross, Marcha Lusty and Eleanor Capson. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird, Deon, Delaine and Mildred Bird attended the wedding reception at Heber, Friday night for Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nichoushier (Miss Marva Lou Jenkins). Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Ross, Donna Don-na and Lamar Ross spent Mother's Moth-er's Day in Vernal at the home of Mrs. Ross' mother, Mrs. Cynthia Cyn-thia Massey. Mrs. Clair Duncan and children, chil-dren, of Neola, spent Mother's Day at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bird. Naomi and Gayle Gilbert came in from Provo to spend the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Gilbert. Gil-bert. The following families gather, ed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. S.
