Show o FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR INFANT Funeral services were held Monday Mon-day at 2 p. m. in the Manila ward chapel for Bertha May Meredith, 18-months-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Meredith. Bishop L. M. Atwood was in charge of the services. ser-vices. A duet, "Whispering Hope," was rendered by George Monson and daughter, Maurine. The prayer was offered by Ezra J. Swenson, followed by a solo, "Farewell Father, Farewell Fare-well Mother," by Ray Shelley of American Fork. The speakers were A. J. Evans of Lehi, President W. W. Warnick and Merrill N. Warnick, with closing remarks re-marks by Bishop L. M. Atwood. The closing song was "Little Pink Rosebud" Rose-bud" by Mr. Shelley, and the closing clos-ing prayer was given by Arza Adams. Ad-ams. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove cemetery. Before the burial, George and Maurine Monson sang at the open grave, "Sometime, We'll Understand." Under-stand." The grave was dedicated by R. D. Wadley. The child died of pneumonia at the home of her grandparents,, Mr. and Mrs. Suel Zimmerman, in Lehi last Friday morning following a short illness. rt |
