Show Funeral Services Conducted For Mrs. Greenwood Solemn and impressive funeral services were held Sunday for Mrs. Sarah Jane Greenwood, who died February ICtli from complications incident to her advanced age. Last respects were paid her in the Fourth ward chapel commencing at 2:00 p. m. Bishop John Pulley was in charge. The meeting house was packed to capacity which together with the many beautiful floral tributes tri-butes bespoke the esteem and respect re-spect in which the deceased was held by all who knew her. The opening musical selection was a solo "Prayer Perfect" sung by Kenneth Robinson. The opening prayer was given by President Jesse M. Walker followed by a vocal solo "One Fleeting Hour" sung by Dar-rcll Dar-rcll Wanlass. Mr. Alma Smith of Logan was the first speaker. He conveyed many consoling thoughts. Following his remarks, Dr. J. F. Noyes spoke. His talk carried many beautiful sentiments senti-ments to the bereaved family. "The Old Refrain" was beautifully beau-tifully played by Leland Friday followed fol-lowed by remarks made by James T. Gardner, who told of the sterling qualities of the deceased. President Earl S. Greenwood spoke of his intimate association with the family and his high regard for this woman who had passed to the Great Beyond. Be-yond. Ray Shelley sang "Going Home" after which Bishop Lot Robinson pronounced the benediction. Interment was made in the American Amer-ican Fork City cemetery where Daniel Dan-iel H. Jorgenscn dedicated the grave. o |
