Show Hans A. Laursen Dies Following Short Illness Hans Andrew Laursen, 71, died at his home at 10 -a. m. Tuesday morn-1 ing after two weeks' illness from ! high blood pressure and complications. complica-tions. He was born at Gromstrop, Denmark, Den-mark, December 26. 1863. He married mar-ried Petrea Laursen May 9, 1884, and they came to America in October. 18S9. They first settled in Alban, Nebraska, then moved to Murray, j Utah, where they lived sixteen years, j From there they moved to American Fork residing there ten years. For the last sixteen years they have lived in Pleasant Grove. At each loca-l tion Mr. Laursen followed black-smithing, black-smithing, as a trade. He was honest and industrious and won many friends. He is survived by his widow and the following sons and daughters: Tarvel, Hans and William of American Ameri-can Fork; Edward of Helper; Geirge of Los Angeles; Everet of Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Ester Williams of Hill City, Idaho; Mrs. Violet Pace of Provo, and Mrs. Hah Williams of Vineyard; also twenty-four grandchildren grand-children and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday Fri-day at 2 p. m. in the Pleasant Grove Second ward chapel. Bishop B. H. Adams will conduct the services. The remains may be viewed at the Second ward Relief Society room Friday until time for the services Friday. |
