Jones, Pleasant Grove; Harold Sherman Jones, Goleta, Calif.; Mrs. Thelma Nichols, Murray; six nephews and seven nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother William Jones. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct 26, at 11 a.m. in the Wing Mortuary Chapel, where friends may call one hour prior to service. ser-vice. Burial will be in the Lehi City Cemetery. Inez Verona Johnson Kocherhans, .78, of Pleasant Grove, died Sunday, Oct. 23, 1988 in Alpine. She was born February Febru-ary 8, 1910 in Cowley, Wyoming to John Edward Ed-ward and Inez Gerald-ine Gerald-ine Johnson Johnson. She married Rupert Kocherhans June 1, 1926 in Lovell, Wyoming. Wyo-ming. Themarriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a member of the LDS Church living in the Pleasant Grove 12th Ward. She had served two missions, Arizona Tempe Mission , and Montana Billings mission. While living in Wyoming she had served as stake dance director for many years. Nielson, Jacksonville, Fla.; Doyle Nielson Jr., Am. George Roseman George Roseman, 77, died Friday, Oct. 21, 1988, of a heart attack it the Sanpete Valley Hospital in Mt. Pleasant. He was born May 15, Ull in Hibbing, Minn., to Yurij and Mary Frankovich Rozman. He married Erma Fanny Hyde Nov. 17, "32 in Salt Lake City. He and his first wife vl in Idaho and California, later settling "American Fork. He his second wife ed in Orem. After her jf th, he moved to Mt. Pleasant. He received his early schooling in Hibbing. He came west after joining he U.S. Army. He served overseas in the South Pacific and Europe during World War II. He joined the LDS Church in June 1955. At the time of his death, he was a high priest and a faithful home teacher. He graduated from Stevens-Henager Business Busi-ness School while working full-time at Geneva Steel as an accountant. He retired in 1976. He was a charter member of the American Fork Sportsmen Sport-smen and had also served as president of the Timpanogos Archers. Ar-chers. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He tied his own flies and taught the art to many others. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. Survivors include one stepdaughter: Mrs. Larry (Joyce) Dotson, Panaca, Nev.; seven grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; five sisters: Mrs. Rosalie Orzanic, Hibbing, Minn.; Mrs. Anne Wessel, Eugene, Ore.; Mrs. Don (Helen) Smeltzer, Columbus, Ohio; Mrs. Henrietta Garramone, San Antonio, An-tonio, Texas; and Mrs. Marcella Surna, Chicago, 111. He was preceded in death by his son, George Wayne, and two sisters, Elizabeth and Mary. Funeral will be held Wednesday, Oct. 26, at the Orem 11th Ward Chapel, 800 S. 400 E. She is survived by one daughter, Billie Jeane Peterson; four grandchildren: Kip Peterson; Mrs. Stephen (Gail) Holbrook; Mrs. Lewis (Toni) Harris; and Mrs. Blake (Michael) Burch; 18 great grandchildren; grandchil-dren; a sister, Mildred D. Wessel, El Cerrito, Calif.; in-laws, nephews neph-ews and nieces. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters: Grant Smith, Monte Smith, John Smith, Fern Larsen and Deane White. Healey Emily Clara Cullimore Healey, 84, of Highland, died Thursday, Thur-sday, Oct. 20, 1988 in American Fork. She was born Oct. 15, 1904 in Lindon, the daughter of William James and Lizzie Mariah Keetch Cullimore. She married Lawrence LaMar Healey June 24, 1926 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died April 18, 1984. She was employed as a cook at. the Utah State Training School lor 20 years. She was a former for-mer Relief Society counselor and a visiting teacher all her adult life. She held many positions in the LDS Church. Survivors include four sons and two daughters: Don LaMar Healey, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. John (LaDean) Adams, Sandy; Norman Nor-man C. Healey and LeEarl Healey, both Highland; Mrs. Boyd (Lola Mae) Mounteer, Farmington; Lynn K. Healey, Lehi; 29 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren; three brothers: Richard Cullimore, Lindon; Sidney Cullimore, Provo; Lynn Cullimore, North Salt Lake. She was preceded in death by a son, Duaine R. Healev. Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 24, in tne Highland 3rd Ward. Burial was in the Alpine Cemetery. Annie Bown Annie Bown, 14, died at home in Pleasant Grove Oct. 18, 1988. She was born July 9, 1974 to Ann Thomson and Rogelio Gonzales and later adopted the name Bown. She received her education in the Provo City schools. At the time of her death, she was attending Pleasant Grove Junior High School. She was an active member of the LDS Church. Her interests in-terests included swimming and animals. She is survived by her parents, Shatter and Ann Thomson Bown, Pleasant Grove; natural father, Rogelio Gonzales, Portland, Ore.; grandmother, Loretta M. Thomson, Salt Lake City; five sisters and four brothers: M. Stephen Bown and Scott Bown, both of Orem; Barbara Peterson, Spanish Fork; Laurie Ivey, Julianne Larsen, Cristina Bown, Sergio Bown, Mario Bown, Michael Bown, Jennifer Bown, all of Pleasant Grove. Frear Robert Lynn Frear, 36, of Wendover, died Oct. 22, 1988 at home. He was born Nov. 15, I 1951 in Salt Lake City to Robert and Fay ! Fillmore Frear. He never married. ! He was a member of j the LDS Church. He attended schools in Murray. He served in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War. He was presently employed as a security guard at the Silver Smith Casino in Wendover. Survivors include his father of Pleasant Grove; two sisters and two brothers: Terry Lambson, Orem; Marjean Roberts, Hampton, Va.; Frank Frear, Silver Lake, Wash. ; and Danny Hall, American Fork. Graveside services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Lawson, 76, formerly of ; Pleasant Grove, died ! ; Monday, Oct. 10, 1988 in Campbell, Calif. She was born Jan. 13, 1912. She was a native of Pleasant Grove. She was a member of the LDS Church and a member of the Moose Lodge. She is survived by two sons: Rulon Cox, San Jose, Calif.; Fred Cox, Lehi; seven grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild. A memorial service was held Oct. 13 at Darling-Fischer Chapel of the Hills, Los Gatos, Calif. There was a' private burial in Los Gatos Memorial Park. |
