Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 27, at 11 a.m. in the American Fork 21st Ward Chapel, 261 N. 900 East. Friends may call at the chapel one hour prior to the services. He was born Aug. 24, JJ mo in Huntington, a . son of Jonathan H. and j) Mary A. Bradley Killpack. He married Jean Aletha Searle on Slay 23, 1935 in Los Angeles, Calif. The -J marriage was later (Ft solemnized in the Los Angeles Temple of the ' LDS Church. ! He was an active BB member of the LDS Church, living in the Pleasant Grove 5th Ward. He was a High Priest. He had served as Sunday School president, in the presidency of the Elders Quorum and, at JJ the time of his illness, was executive secretary to the bishop. He spent his childhood days in Huntington and attended at-tended schools there. He had worked as a manager in an auto parts store. Survivors include his wife of Pleasant Grove; a son and a daughter, Mrs. Don (Chery Jean) Doty, Bountiful; Gary Dee Killpack, Lay ton; four grandchildren; two brothers and four sisters; James H. Killpack, Ft. Worth, Texas; Kenner Killpack, Centerville; Addie Young, Salt Lake City, and Ramona Klaywitter, Apple Valley, Calif. Services were Tuesday, Nov. 26, at the Pleasant Grove 5th Ward Church. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Bishop Frank Mills of the Pleasant Grove Fifth Ward. Pallbearers were Kenner Killpack, Gary Killpack, Donald Doty, John Doty, Kurt Young, and JohnD. Young. The family prayer was given by Gary Killpack. The prelude and postlude were played by Louise Johnson. The invocation was by Donald Doty. Speakers were Harold Greene, James D. Pratt, and Bishop Mills. Elaine Bonham, Vicki Anderson, Morgan Hansen and Stan Johnson sang "Each Life That Touches Ours for Good," accompanied ac-companied by Helen Mortensen. The benediction was by Kenner Killpack and the grave was dedicated by Gary Killpack. Pallbearers were Duston Peterson, Fred Ziska, Bill Warburton, Robert Messersmith, . Leland Messersmith, and Gaylon Messersmith. Messer-smith. Honorary pallbearers were Dean Smith, Greg Norton, Dave Edens, Russell Robison, Wayne Robison, Vernal Messersmtih, Steve Robinson, Ralph Sandman, San-dman, Steve Robison and Robert Robison. The prelude and postlude were played by Sharon Ellington. The family prayer was by Greg Norton. Bill Warburton gave the invocation. The biographical sketch was by Bill Fairbanks. Jeri Danielson Ziska sang "In The Garden," accompanied ac-companied by Chester Stone. The speaker was Dr. Duane Atkinson. Jeri Ziska sang "The Wind Beneath My Wings," also known as "Hero". Vernal Messersmith gave the benediction and Dan Peterson dedicated the grave in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. I |
