I ill Birthday party for everyone 5 By KALYN SECRETAN Do you want to have a group , party with a lot of helping hands? An Everybody's Birthday Party ' can be a lot of fun and guests have ! to sit at their own birthday table and see just what they have in common with others who share their birthday month. P At a recent adult party in the v; Pleasant Grove Third Ward, chairmen delivered invitations to all who celebrate the same birthday month and they decorated their table area relating to the month and each furnished a number for the Program. Tables were colorful and unique. Several were centered around Mdays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas and Valentines Day. The July theme was "Take Me Out to the Ballgame!" It featured Patriotic colors in placemats, talloons, etc. Bags of popcorn, Pnuts and crackerjack were scattered along the table with the tot and ball. The January theme was "New Years Babies," and some of the January birthday guests dressed up as babies in a baby contest for the program. The June table was beautifully decorated with fresh flowers, fine china and silver with a Strawberry Days theme. Place mats, nut cups and accents were all relating to strawberries. A mean old witch appeared on the program from the October table, where Halloween was celebrated. Some tables involved everyone at their table, as September with a School Days presentation and others with skits, while some months had a musical number or reading. The same food was enjoyed by all whether eating on china or paper plates. Guests furnished a variety of salads to go with the ham, rolls and strawberry shortcake. Everyone had a good time and met new friends in the neighborhood. |
