Mrs. Samuel Beckstead visited with her daughter, Mrs. Levi Robertson Friday of last week. Many of the boys and girls from here joined the Jordan high May day outing Friday of last week at Saratowa. The Senior girls of Grant ward entertained at a lawn party at the home of Miss LaRue Simper Wednesday evening in honor of Miss Linnie Cain who with her parents will move to Holliday the coming week to make her home. Various games were played and a novelty luncheon was served. The classmates of Miss Rayola Simper gave a surprise party at her home on West 59 south street Tuesday evening. Mr. Olson, a six months missionary to the Northern states and Mr. Thayne filled a missionary in Holland. Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Garrett motored to Nephi Sunday and returned on Tuesday. They were guests while there of Mrs. W. A. Garrett, Sr. Mrs. Alice Rock and Mrs. Jennie McDonald attended the Wilkes Friday evening. Winnefred and Isabelle McDonald were week-end guests of Mrs. J. N.
