Show Howard C. Cooper to take Canadian bride lege of Southern Utan, but postponed his schooling to serve in the National Guard and to fulfill a two-year mission mis-sion for the LDS Church in the Alaskana-Canadian Mission. During the past year, he has been attending Southern Utah State College, on academic scholarship, where he has continued con-tinued his interest and activity activ-ity in music and electronics. The couple plan to make their home in Cedar City until Mr. Cooper completes his college col-lege work- ' LAVONNE ATWOOD : Mr. and Mrs. Linsey Atwood of Wardner, B. C, Canada, recently re-cently announced the engage-ment engage-ment of their daughter, La-vonne, La-vonne, to Howard C. Cooper, son of Mr. and Mrs. Laurence C. Cooper of Cedar City. The wedding will take place Sept. 17, in the LDS temple in Cardston, Alberta, Canada, after af-ter which the young couple will be honored at a reception at Wardner, and an open house in Cedar City. Miss Atwood attended the high school in Cranbrook, B. C. where she was awarded the honor of Top Secretarial Student Stu-dent of 1969 upon graduation. She has been attending Ricks College in Idaho where she has been majoring in Home Economics. Mr. Cooper graduated from Cedar High School where he was active in music and electronics elec-tronics organizations. Upon graduation, he was given an academic scholarship to Col- |
