Show MR. AND MRS. JONATHAN A. HUNT Enterprise Couple to Be Honored at Open I House on Golden Wedding Anniversary I An Open House honoring Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan A. Hunt of Enterprise on their Golden Wed-ing Wed-ing Anniversary will be held Saturday, Sa-turday, Dec. 7, it is announced by the family. Friends and relatives of the life-long residents of southern Utah, are extended an invitation to attend. The open house will be staged at the Enterprise Ward Chapel from 5 to 7 p. m. with a program planned for 7 p. m. The family In extending the invitation request that no gifts be given. Mr. Hunt has lived in Enterprise Enter-prise all his life, where he is a farmer and cattleman. He is also al-so active in affairs of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mrs. Hunt was born in Cedar City. She is the former Minetta Bauer, the first of 13 children of Samuel and Katheryn Bauer of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Hunt were married mar-ried Dec. 18, 1903 in the St. George LDS Temple after mooting moot-ing while attending Branch Normal Nor-mal School, now College of Southern Utah in Cedar City. They have raised 12 children, with ten living. One of their children, Alma S. Hunt, was killed kill-ed during World War II as a participant par-ticipant in the invasion of Europe Eur-ope at Normandy Beach. A second sec-ond child was lost when Mrs. Gary (Dolores Tullis was killed in an automobile accident. All ten of the Hunt children will be in attendance at the Open House. They are Mrs. Frank (Katherine) Ernest, Panama, Pan-ama, Nov.: Mrs. Murray (Reion) Lee, Panaca, Nev.; Mrs. Fenton "lortense) Tvler, Ucon. Idaho; Mrs. Clive (Claudia) Hive, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Ivan (Maxine) Barlow, Enterprise; Elton Hunt, Richland. Wash.; Mrs. Ken (Shirley) (Shir-ley) Staheli, Enterprise; Delong Hunt, Sandy; Jeannee Hunt, Las Vegas, Nev., and Gary Hunt, Las Vegas, Nev. The Hunts also have 35 grandchildren grand-children and eight great-grandchildren. |
