Show Services held n Paragonah for Albert Jones Mrs. Hilma Lamoreaux Impressive funeral services were held on July 11 for Albert Al-bert Jones in the Paragonah Ward Chapel with Bishop Lavell Jensen of Taylorsville conducting. . Prelude and postlude music was toy Mrs. Melva Barton and Keith Bess offered the invocation. A history of the deceased was given by Mario Stones and the speakers were Bishop Robert Lamoreaux and P. Amasa Stones. . ; Musical numbers included ft ladies quartette, "In The Garden", by Janet Jones, Merna Mitchell, Katrine John-pon John-pon and Jackie Robinson accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Itha Mor-tensen; Mor-tensen; and two numbers by the choir, "Oh, My Father" (and "I Know That My Re- deemer Laves." D. Amasa Stones directed the choir, with Mrs. Melva Barton at the organ. or-gan. Donald Stewart pronounced the benediction and Albert Ashworth gave the dedicatory prayer at the cemetery, i; A huge crowd of relatives attended the services. Many were already in the area at-tending at-tending a Jones family reunion. reun-ion. ' Out of town people here for Se funeral services included r. and Mrs. Bill Waters of California, Delaines, daughter Christine and her husband, Birs. Elizabeth Lamoreaux, of Henderson; Bishop and Mrs. Robert Lamoreaux of- El Cen-tro, Cen-tro, Calif, and their son Lyle of Provo; Mr. and Mrs. Randy Morfan of La Mirada, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Gene Clark, Mrs. Thelma Jenkins, Mrs. Margaret Margar-et Scott and her husband, all of Henderson, and Milo Stones of Ogden. Mrs. Iras Jones had her entire en-tire family together as the Dale Gordons came from Lew-iston, Lew-iston, Idaho; Dale Smith and family from Sandy; Tom Jones from Baker, Calif, and the Warren Smiths from Cedar Ce-dar City. Too numerous to mention were others from the surrounding sur-rounding area. |
