Show Final services honor memory oi John S. Dalton Funeral services were held Saturday, July 15 in the Third ward chapel here for John S. Dalton, who died during the week in a St. George Rest home after a long illness. They were conducted by Bishop Hyatt Bcntley with Mrs. Ola Robinson at the organ or-gan for prelude and postlude music. Speakers were a grand-son-in-law, Stuart Adams, who gave a brief history of the deceased, and two grandsons, Kerry Adams and Robert Mercer, Mer-cer, with closing remarks by Bishop Bentley. The family prayer was offered of-fered by a son, John S. Dalton, Dal-ton, Jr, The invocation was by Jay Graff, the benediction was by Verl Taylor and the grave in the Parowan City cemetery was dedicated by Jess W. Guymon. Musical numbers were a vo-'f cal duet, "In the Garden" by Marlene and Charlene Holi-man, Holi-man, accompanied by Mrs. Holiman; a medley of favorite songs by Hazel Jean Robinson Robin-son on the saxophone and Melva Barton at the piano, and a vocal solo "Home on the Range" by Whitney Orton accompanied by Mrs. Barton Pallbearers were grandsons and grandsons-in-law;' Robert Mercer, Kerry Adams, John E. Dalton, William Hammell, Robert Morgan and Bob Evans and honorary pallbearers were Jim Beal, Bob Pearl, Russ Moseley, Jerald Davenport, Steve Bright and Lynn Ras-mussen. Ras-mussen.
