Show Couple Will Be Feted For Golden Wedding The children of Lorls and Hilda O. Chldester will host an open house in honor of their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, May 30 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Pangultch Middle School, in Pangultch. The couple has four children: Dee L., Julavista, Calif; Arthur, Moab; Ted, Bloomington, Ind.; and Mrs. Earl (Lola) Henrie, Pangultch. They have 12 grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren. They were married June 3, 1926, in the Manti LDS Temple and have lived In Panguitch since. Mr. Chidster They were married June 3, 1926, in the Manti LDS Temple and have lived in Pangultch since. Mr. Chldester worked at the Kaibab saw mill, then with the County Road Dept. for 16 years. He worked for the state road. Loris Chldester is a native of Pangultch. He was born to Theadore and Ida Sargent Chldester, November 10, 1905. He served in the Young Mens Mutual presidency and is presently a ward teacher. He is an outdoorsman. He likes fishing, hunting and camping. Hilda Orton Chldester was born April 17, 1908 in Panguitch to Henrie S. and Mary Elizabeth ' Llnford Orton. She has served in the LDS Church In Primary and Relief Society positions most of her life. At present, the is a visiting teacher and Visiting Teacher Supervisor. She also belongs to the ward choir. All friends and relatrives of the couple are Invited to attend and help celebrate this special occasion. The couple requests that no gifts be brought to the open house. |
