Show Auditions set for Youth Symphony Mormon Youth Symphony Musical Director Robert C. Bowden has announced auditions for the popular and widely known musical group. The auditions will be held from Sept. 17 through Sept 29. They are open to symphony string, wood-. wood-. wind, brass or percussion instrumentalists. in-strumentalists. Those desiring an audition must be a member in good standing of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and at least 16 years of age. Interested persons should contact the Mormon Youth Symphony office of-fice at 240-2524 to schedule a time for audition. The Mormon Youth Symphony & Chorus (MYS&Q perform in more than 25 conceit appearances each year, and are known around the world through their commercial audio and video programs and recordings. The MYS&C, sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints, will perform with the Chicago Brass Quintet on Saturday, Sept. 22, 8 p.m. in the Tabernacle on Temple Square. |
