i , '' -- ,' : KR1STEN ANDERSON Anderson named student of month O at Viewmont High Kristen Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Anderson of Centerville, has been selected to receive re-ceive the PTSA Student of the Month Recognition Award at Viewmont High School. As a sophomore, Kristen was a member of the cross country and track teams. This year she is co-captain co-captain and has led the school team to the regional playoffs. The Lady Vikings placed sixth in this year's 4-A state championships. Kristen took top honors in the girls' division of the Davis County Clipper Cross Country Invitational meet with a time of 19:18 for a 2.9 mile run. Although she is not sure of her educational goals, Kristen is a solid student taking'AP English, AP biology, biol-ogy, and trigonometry. She has a 3.85 gpa and was recently inducted into the National Honor Society. Besides dedicating herself to her : athletic goals this month, Kristen served as junior attendant to View-mont's View-mont's Homecoming royalty. She is active in the LDS Young Women's organization and likes to read, sew, cook, and play the piano in her spare time.
