Show Post Office hours expand Post office retail window service hours are being expanded in Bountiful, Boun-tiful, North Salt Lake, and Woods Cross effective Sept. 10, according to Postmaster Nolan T. Birt. The new hours for the Bountiful Post Office are: 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. The North Salt Lake and Woods Cross offices will continue to be closed for lunch for 30 minutes each day. The changes follow the announcement by Postmaster General Anthony M. Frank that the Postal Service will be able to restore service and still comply with congressionally-ordered operating fund costs of $160 million for 1988 and $270 million for 1989.
