Show KALARAMA WINS INPROVO HORSE SHOW i Stallion Judged Tops in Lions Club Horse Show; Gleam of Hope Wins Second in Events Kalarama Parader, high-stepping stallion from the Mt. Maple Stables and owned by the J. W. Grants, walked off with the prize honors of the fifth annual Lions Centennial horse show held last Saturday night at Provo. A beautiful beau-tiful cup and $300 prize stake went with the championship for the five-gaited class winner. Kalarama Parader, strutting his stuff proudly under the guidance of A. G. Brown, trainer and rider, won over four other top horses in the show and added this title to his combination five-gaited crown won in the previous night's judging judg-ing to easily win top honors as the best horse in the show. The Grants' other entry, Gleam of Hope, took second in the Model stallion's stake and second in the Open Junior Fine Harness. |
