According to Mrs. Mae Huntington Hunting-ton who has been in attendance at the Art Galleries since the opening open-ing of the Utah Artists' Exhibit, july 6, each day has brought artists, ar-tists, art critics, and patrons from all sections of the country. On Tuesday a representative day, names were noted from Florida, Louisiana, California, Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, Texas and Utah. Also registered were names from eight cities in Utah during the one day. The exhibit will be open until Monday, July 28, and visitors are welcome at any one time from 2 until 8 p. m., daily, including Sunday. Sun-day. Springville citizens, especially, are urged to visit the gallery and get a glimpse of what is being done in the field of art by Utah artists. Nearly 300 paintings of all types are on display in addition addi-tion to several pieces of statuary, all of which affords anyone an opportunity op-portunity of seeing some very fine art work. There is no charge to visit the gallery and where a request is made, Mrs. Huntington will gladly tell something of the pictures and exhibiting artists. |
