Show New Harmony M. Hammond Reporter Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Pace and Jimmie Sine were business visitors in Cedar City on Wednesday. Sheriff Antone Prince of St. George was a business visitor here on Wednesday. Mrs. Annetta Pearce returned home Tuesday from Astoria, Ore. where she has been visiting the past two weeks with her sister, Mrs. Ralph Brown. She left here Wednesday for St. George where she has employment. Word was received Wednesday of the birth of a son to Mr. and Mrs. William Cottam of St. George. Mrs. Cottam is the daughter of Mrs. Lurene Taylor of this town. Lester Taylor of Fairview was visiting here Wednesday with his father. James E. Taylor. Miss Josephine Taylor left Thursday for Kannara where she has employment. Mrs. Dean Macfarlane and children of Cedar City were visiting visit-ing here with Mrs. Lurene Taylor on Thursday. Mrs. Gordon Williams of Cedar City spent a few days here the past week visiting her grandparents. grand-parents. Mr. and Mrs. Reese Davis. Members of the stake Sunday school were visitors here on Sunday. Sun-day. Mrs. Leslie Pace has returned from Salt Lake City where she was called for the illness of her father. Mrs. Fawntella Taylor, wife of Kelsey Taylor, of this town, died Saturday in the Iron county hospital hos-pital after a five-week's illness of typhoid fever. Funeral services will be held here on Tuesday at two o'clock. Mrs. Taylor was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. June Williams of Kanarraville. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Mathis and family motored to Cedar City Sunday evening. Joe Taylor, father of Elmer Taylor, and Leverna Englestead, was visinng here last week. |
