Their uprightness as public citizens, and their contributions to the world of art. music, education and civic and religious life, was cited as a monument to the example and teachings of their father, who remains re-mains with them, and of their mother, who has gone on. Closing remarks were made by Bishop Snow, corroborating the remarks of the previous speakers, telling of his association with the family as friend and as Bishop and eulogizing the life of Mrs. Bleak in a poem, "A Mother's Tribute", which he read from the Women's Relief Society Magazine Maga-zine of May, 1937. Palbearers included Mrs. Bleak's brother, Hyrum Thompson, her grandson, Lloyd Bleak, and her nephews, Glenn E. Snow, president presi-dent of the Dixie junior college, LeRoy Nelson, Rex Bleak, and Will ThomDson. Prayers were by James Mc-Arthur, Mc-Arthur, former south ward bishop; Vernon Worthen, bishop of the west ward, and dedication of the grave was by Milton E. Moody, county superintendent of schools. There were many beautiful floral tributes. Burial was in the St. George cemetery. |
