Show Educators Attend U.E.A. Meet In Salt Lake City Miss Tillie Winsor, elementary school supervisor of Washington county, left Monday for Salt Lake City to attend the pre-convention meetings of the U.E.A. taking place there this week. Milton E. Moody, county superintendent super-intendent of schools, accompanied by Leo A. Snow, school board president; J. W. Imlay, board member, and Lloyd McArthur, clerk, left Wednesday morning. Practically all of the teachers will leave today (Thursday). There is to be a special meeting of superintendents on Wednesday afternoon and the regular convention con-vention meetings are to be hold Thursday, through Saturday. This year's convention committee has scheduled special features of entertainment, en-tertainment, educationally and socially, according to announcements announce-ments sent out.. Glenn E. Snow, president; Mathew M. Bentley, registrar, and Evy Rean Cox, secretary, and all faculty members of the Dixie college col-lege left Wednesday to attend the U.E.A. N. R. Fret, principal and his corps of teachers from the Dixie junior high as well as most of the principals and teachers from the entire county have gone to the convention. |
