Show County's Exhibit At Fair Receives Praise Washington County Boys And Girls Win Places For Entries and Judging Ability In Contests The Washington county exhibit at the state fair drew much favorable favor-able comment, reports Anson B. Call, county agent, who was in charge of the booth. The produce of the county was placed before a background showing Pine Valley Mountain and the red hills in the foreground. Miss Carol Cox, style dress revue re-vue entrant from Washington county, received a B rating in the state contest. The girls' demonstration on Fiber Identification given by Beulah Smith and Grace Bentley received favorable comment. The judges stated that the demonstration demonstra-tion was very good. The two girls in the demonstration demon-stration and the style dress revue entrant were from the 4-H club group led by Ila Cox during the summer. This group had earned enough money so that' the other members were also able to attend the state fair. The boys representing Washington Washing-ton county, Stafford Snow, and Willard Stratton, in the poultry judging contest, won second place. In the cleaning and dressing contest, con-test, these boys won fourth and fifth places.
