Sullivan of the Ray-nione-lllinois mine, had his left hand quite badly scalded by steam while he was at work on the boiler. f William Hoffman, superintendent of the Caripa, left for Denver upon a vacation. va-cation. Manager Harry Josephs 'is out from Salt Lake and will remain at the mine during his absence. f . William Young was taken to Salt Lake Tuesday to be treated at the Keogh-Wright hospital for typhoid fever. fe-ver. President O'Hara of the Eureka Miners' union, accompanied him to Salt Lake. f D. C. Sullivan, the well known local mining man, received a telegram last week announcing the death of his nephew. Dennis Sullivan, at Butte, Mont. Mr. Sullivan was unable to go to Butte for the funeral. Mrs. M. Sullivan went to Salt Lake last week to see her husband, w ho was at the hospital as the result of an accident ac-cident in the Centennial-Eureka mine several months ago. Mr. Sullivan accompanied ac-companied her home, but is Unable to walk without the aid of crutches. ' |
