Just as we go to press we learn that Father Thomas Tho-mas McCormick, of the Fort Benton Catholic church, who has been in the city for the past three weeks assisting in the services at St. Ann's cathedral during the absence of Bishop Lenihan and Father Pauwelyn, was quite seriously seri-ously injured by being thrown from his, horse in front of the rectory on Fourth n venue north. The revered father was just in the act. of mounting his saddle horse for the purpose of riding back to Fort Benton when the horse, which had bpen in the stable for nearly three weeks and was feeling very frisky, started to buck. Father McCormick had. not succeeded in getting both feet in the stirrups and was easily dislodged. dis-lodged. He was thrown up into the air and fell-heavily upon his head. He was stunned; by the fall and parties who had witnessed the accident hurried hur-ried to his side, finding him unconscious with the blood running from a bad cut upon' his face and forehead. He was carried into the rectory and Dr. Irwin Ir-win was huni-iedly called.
