Show TRACK GANG NEAKING i BRIGHAM Considerable progress has beeR made during the last few days on tho Brlghain City line of the Ogden Rapid Transit company and the track gang are now laying rail6 less than three, miles from the Peach City. The wire gang, which follows close at the heelB of the track layors, has the trolley wire strung from Hot Springs through Wlllard and is only a short distance behind the steel men. Part of the wire crew Is at work on the feed wires which must follow the trolley The feed wires have not yet reached Wlllard, but are being strung toward tbo village from Hot Springs. The Rapid Transit company Is still sparring for right-of-way in Ogden canyon, preparatory to the extension to the canyon line to Huutsville. Thre miles of the 'canvon land necessary for the building of the extension Is beld by the Utah Light & Railway company and many yards of red tape must be unraveled before the companies com-panies cau roach an agreement The red tape Is a necessary factor in tho transactions because much of the stock of the IT tab Light & Railway company is held by eastern capitalists capital-ists and these roust be consulted bo-fore bo-fore action Is taken In any matters of great Importance. As soon as the companies reach an agreement, the work of building; the Huntsvlllc line will be started |
