We are truly thankful to the people of Ogden for the loyalty and support given the early closing movement No doubt it lies cuused some lncon-enience, lncon-enience, but we believe that in a short time this trouble will adjust Itself. It-self. We are thankful to t:ie merchants who have lived up to the agreement. We realize that they hae made some sacrifice for our benefit. We appreciate appre-ciate it very much. It is our desire and our purpose to work in harmony with the merchants; to be loyal to our employers; to put forth our beM efforts to Increase our sales and lioost for early ahopp.ng. We also wish to thank the members mem-bers of the vurlous unions an.l labor organizations for their support. Albert, clothiers, who were charged I with violating the Sunda closing or- i dlnunce, were dipcharged .n police court because W. F. Compton. vice-president vice-president of the Retail Clerks- asocl-tlon, asocl-tlon, the prosecuting witness, had left town. In behalf of the Retail Clerks' association, I wish to state that Mr. Compton is not vice president of that organization We are thoroughly organized as & body of workers and are atlll.ated . with the American Federation of Labor. La-bor.
