Show FIST FIGHTS AND OTHER SORROWS Complaints were filed with the clerk of the municipal court this ! morning, charging Joseph Stuker of I Talor and Helier Rues of Hooper with battery. The complaints allege that, on Augist 11. the defendants committed the offense of 'battery on the persons of J, H. Wilson and F. A. Martin. They are state cases and will be tried by the county attorney as Boon as he can arrange for the trials. Attorney Hulverson appeared for the defendants and eutered a plea of not guilty for each of them. The men were released on their own rt cognizance. cogniz-ance. Juvenile Officer II ('.. Jacobs has sworn to a complaint charging V. Nabasbimo and E. Hina, Japanese, with selling whisky to Frank Brown, a minor. The offense will take place tomorrow. - Is J.
