Show AMERICAN BOATS WIH YACHT RACES MARBLEHEAD. Aug. 17 Leaving Leav-ing the Spanish yachts hopelessly astern, the three American boats turned the first International sunder yacht contest today into an intensely exc.tlng race of their own, with the Harpoon finishing 12 seconds ahead of the Beaver, but losing because of a fouled turning mark. Two seconds after the Beaver came the Clma. but the committee had to wait eight minutes for the Chonta the first of the foreigners. 13 minutes for the Papoose and IS minutes for the Mosquito II.
