Show KMARRHVILLE NEWS NOTES I .. By Hannali Davis Everyone Is happy over a nice rainstorm here Sunday afternoon and during the night, which was badly needed. Visiting in town with relatives and friends was Agnes Struble of Cedar City. She was accompanied by Genevieve Hamilton who spent her time with her niece, Arvilla Woodbury. Seven of our young people graduated from High School. They were Cheryl Williams, Rct-ta Rct-ta Batty, Lenis Davis, Cheslev Williams, Bob Cornelluc, Donald Williams and Joe Gubler. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Peterson of Salt Lake City visited with their grandmother, Hannah Davis on Friday evening. Spending a few days over the Memorial Day vacation at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Davis were Mr. and Mrs. Ora Heap and sons of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Piatt and daughter La Vera and a friend, Lowell Vawdery of Riverton, Utah; Mr. and Mrs. Browning Plitt of Cedar City and Mama Heap of Parowan. Visitors with relatives here last week were Mr. and Mrs. Carl I Perkins of Cedar City and George uoundy of Delta. Week ena litors at the home of Ethna Williams were Mr. and Mrs. Terry Williams of Logan, David Williams of Provo, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Williams, the Reeves Williams family of Las Vegas and the Garth Pollock family of Cedar City. At the home of Hettie Pollock were some of her children, Mr and Mrs. Keith Pollock and family fam-ily of Beryl, and Mr. and Mrs. Gary Pollock and family of Fern-ley, Fern-ley, Nevada. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Williams and Cheryl were business visitors visit-ors In Las Vegas Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Elton Stapley and son Kendall of Cedar City were visitors with Jennie Williams. Wil-liams. Kendall also visited with the Chester Williams family. At the Glade Berry home were Mr.and Mrs. Kent Davis and Belinda Be-linda from Riverton, Wyo., and the Gajle.i Berry family of Las Vegas. Mr. and Mrs. Loren Robinson and Luella Hawkins spent the week eud at Kanosh and Milford with relatives. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Piatt were their daughter, daugh-ter, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Michele, and family of Salt Lake City. I Mrs. Delsa Haskell and children chil-dren of Payson spent a few days here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Batty. She was accompanied ac-companied home by her sister Elaine. Mrs. Norma Housor and boys of Phoenix, Ariz., spent Memorial Day here. Her father, Waldo Reeves and brother Bruce, took her home and will spent their I vacation there. Camilla Williams of Henderson, Hender-son, Nev., has come to spend the summer here with her husband Park at their ranch west of here. Arthur Fife or Albuquerque, I N. M. was a visitor in town with ! relatives. Preston Williams was a busi-; busi-; ness visitor in Salt Lake City last week. I Hannah Davis spent Sunday here from Salt Lake City with, her parents, the Dellle Davis family. Mr. and Mrs. George Wood of Las Vegas and Mr. and Mrs. George Marshall and girls of Salt Lake City were visitors about town with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Simkinn and children of Murray were visitors vis-itors at the home of her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Davis. Bill Isom and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Isom and children of Na-vada; Na-vada; Mr. and Mrs. Arvil Merrill Mer-rill of Payson and the Jy Pollock Pol-lock family of Cedar City. "Aunt" Alice accompanied Denor to Las. Vegas for a visit. Roscie Williams of Annabella spent Memorial Day here with (his mother, Mary M. Williams.
