Also Mrs. Matheson's son and family, the G. R. Matheson's of Pamona, Calif. Mrs. Peterson and Mrs. Matheson Mathe-son spent Memorial Day in Enterprise. En-terprise. Ronald Dalley and Mrs. Amy Green of Cedar City visited at the home of a brother, Otto Dalley, last Thursday. Ted Fife traveled to Salt Lake i C'ty where he boarded a train , Sunday for Chicago arriving at 10 a .m. Monday. From there he traveled to Oregon, Illinois where he will learn to operate 1 new State Road equipment, .which he will bring back to 1 Utah. He will be gone about ten days. ) Lester Dalley took a week's vacation from his studies in Salt , Lake City to be home with his family. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. F. Burns land daughter Sherrie of Sunset Utah, visited here with relatives, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Matheson and the Herbert Whites on Memorial Mem-orial Day. The Fred Whickers of Cedar I City and the Jay Davenports traveled to the Parowan Five 1 Mile Park last Friday for a reunion re-union of the Wm. T. Davenport family. Charles R. Dalley and daughter Mrs. Claude Mitchell of Ogden spent the Memorial Day week end here. Mrs. Bertrand Dalley her son Allen and daughter Mary Beth were dinner guests at the home of a sister-in-law, Mrs. Jeanette Bayles in Parowan Thursday evening. Dr. and Mrs. David Urie and three children of Richfield, spent Memorial Day here with Mrs. Urie's family, the Ted Fifes. Mr. and Mrs. Mack Rider took advantage of the long holiday week end for a trip to Phoenix and Mesa, Ariz. They also spent a night in Scott sdale, Ariz., and one in Las Vegas, Nev., before returning home Sunday. Mr. Rider's Rid-er's mother came from Clearfield Clear-field to care for their two little girls while they were away. Mr. and Mrs." Carlisle Hulet and son David traveled to Roy, Utah, last Thursday where they visited with Mrs. Hulet's brother and sister, Stanford and LaRae Mattews. They also visited In Salt Lake City with other family members before returning home Saturday. The Hulet's other children remained here with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar J. Hulet and aunt, Mrs. Carl Evans and family. Mrs. Bertrand Dalley enjoyed a visit from her brother Darwin Hulet and family of Kearns, Ut Wesley, Ron and Bruce Smith have returned to their home In Lander, Wyo., after a week's stay here with their grandparents, grandpar-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Smith. Their maturnal grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Lund of Paragonah took them home. Mrs. Dee El Stapley is enjoying a visit from two of her sisters I Elaine and Faye Nielson of Mur-ray. Mur-ray. The .Stapleys and their I guests and Mr. Staplcy's mother, Sylvia Stapley, spent Monday In St. George. Miss Sheral Davenport left this morning for Boise, Ida., where she will spend two weeks visiting visit-ing at the homt- of her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Storey. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar J. Hulet entertained all the teachers and their partners of the Cedar North Elementary to Breakfast at their home Friday morning. Mrs. Hulet Hu-let also Invited her nephew, Michael Hulet and John Logan of Cedar City to her home Wednesday Wednes-day for dinner prior to John's departure for his 6 months training train-ing with the National Guard. |
