Show Mrs. Pay! Miner Dies in Calsf.; Funeral Vednesday Funeral services were conducted Wednesday ' in Bakersfield, Calif, for Ethel Bunker Miner, 62, wife of Paul C. Miner, former residents of Springville, who died Sunday evening of a heart attack. The Miners reside at 148 LaMesa Dr., Bakersfield. . - Mrs. Miner was born Nov. 3, 1889 at Bunkerville, Nevada, a doughter of Edward Bunker, Jr. and Arminta McClellan. She was educated in Bunkerville schools, also attended the BAC at Cedar City and took post graduate work. . She was married to Paul Chase Miner Dec. 22, 1912. She has been active in various auxiliary, organizations organi-zations of the Church of Jesus Christ of, Latter Day Saints, both in Springville and Bakersfield. She has also been president, chorister, chor-ister, organist and historian of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers in Springville, -and was at the time of her death county DUP president in Bakersfield, California. Mrs. Miner moved from Springville to California, four and a half years ago. Survivors include her husband, two daughters and a son: Mrs. C. A. (Norma) Hartley, Butte, Montana; Mrs. C. H. (Ina) Pitcher, Pit-cher, Calgary, Alta, Canada; and Harold Miner, Bakersfield, Calif., formerly of Springville; also a sister, Mrs. Lillian B. Corry, Cedar Ce-dar City, and 10 gradchildren. A number of relatives left early this week to attend the services including, Mrs. Harold Miner, Mrs. Margaret Miner, Mrs. Ruth Ben-nion Ben-nion of Salt Lake and Mrs. Lillian Corry of Cedar. |
