He was elected to Phi Kappa Phi, and took " position with a Salt Lake City newspaper before coming; to Washington where he joined the Post staff. Public Invited to Hear Pulitzer Prize Winner Merlo J. Pusey, Pultzer Prize winner who was recently awarded an honorary doctor's degree by Brigham Young University, will address a public gathering on the BYU campus Thursday night. Co-sponsored by journalism de-partment de-partment and the BYU summer school, the lecture will be open to the public. Mr. Pusey will speak on the role journalism plays in the nation's capitol. A native Utahn who is now an editorial writer for the Washington Washing-ton Post, Mr. Pusey is a writer and journalist of nation-wide ranking. His articles have been published in over half-score of the country's most eminent journals. He is considered an expert in the field of political and economic problems.
