Wendi Warhurst lettered three years in volleyball, basketball and track. She was chosen outstanding female athlete at WX in 1984-85 and '85-'86. She was All-State in basketball her senior year. She was also named to the AH Academic volleyball and basketball teams. She maintained a 3.9 gpa throughout through-out high school. She is currently attending the . University of Utah on a full softball scholarship and was named Honorable Honor-able All-American as a sophomore . Carolyn Martineau lettered in tennis, volleyball, basketball and track. She was outstanding female athlete in 1976, 1977 and 1978. She played varsity volleyball and basketball bas-ketball all four years and was also their number one tennis player. She made the all-state basketball team her junior and senior year. Through all of this she maintained a 4.0 gpa. Jeff Ostler earned the distinction of being the "best running back" that Coach Hawkins (currently Principal Hawkins) coached in his 12-year coaching career. He was chosen not only for his skills, but his great leadership abilities among his teammates. He started varsity all three years, 1977-1979. He made first team all-region and honorable hon-orable mention all-state. Jason Whitney staked his claim to fame from 1978 to 1980. They will play at a public concert in the Salt Lake Tabernacle on Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. The all-state orchestra is directed by Dr. Coyn Barris from BYU.
