Show Allis T. Jackson LAYTON Allis Thomassen Jackson, 49 of 345 E. 1 150 N., died Sunday, Oct. 9, 1988 at the University Univer-sity of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City of lupus. She was born Oct. 13, 1938 in EsGjerg, Denmark, a daughter of Henry and Jenny Vestergard Thomassen. Tho-massen. She married Roy W. Jackson Jan. 12, 1962 in Anchorage, Alaska. The marriage was later solemnized jn the Logan LDS Temple. She was reared in Denmark, Ida-, Ida-, ho and Salt Lake City. She had lived in Logan and Germany for three years each, Texas for two years and Alaska for five years. She had resided in Layton for the past 13 years. She attended school in Denmark, Idaho and graduated from South High School in Salt Lake City.. She was a member of the Layton 23rd LDS Ward, where she had served as Relief Society president, jary president and visiting iwuier. She had also served in other ward and stake callings. She had worked for the genealogical genealo-gical society in Salt Lake City for several years. She enjoyed knitting, sewing and crocheting. Surviving are her husband of Layton; one son and two daughters, daugh-ters, Kevin W. Jackson, Ogden; Mrs. Frank (Kemyj Archuleta and Mrs. Alan (Karen) Cox, both of Layton; two grandchildren. Also surviving are her parents of Bountiful; one brother and two sisters, sis-ters, Paul Thomassen, Anchorage, Alaska; Mrs. Bob (Lene) Beck-stead, Beck-stead, Bountiful; Mrs. Doug (Han-ne) (Han-ne) Brown, Sandy. Funeral directors, Lindquist's Layton Mortuary. Bishop Robert D. Whetstone officiated at funeral services Oct. 12. Family prayer was offered by Roy W. Jackson; prelude, Shirley Williams; "Woman of Faith" by Vicki Rich, Paula Fawcett, Patty Johnson, and Margaret Scriven, accompanied by Shirley Williams.; invocation, Alan Cox; remarks, Bishop Robert D. Whetstone; speakers, Pres. Evan A. White-sides White-sides and Pres. Stephen F. Ron-nenkamp; Ron-nenkamp; "Well Done Thy Good and Faithful Servant" by Vance and Louenda Downs, accompanied by Paula Fawcett; benediction, Kevin S. Jackson. Dedication of the grave was by Kurt D. Randall with interment in the Lindquist's Memorial Park at Layton. Pallbearers were Frank Archuleta, Archule-ta, Alan Cox, Douglas Brown, Robert Beckstead, Bobby Beck-stead Beck-stead and Michael Beckstead. |
