Show Off the remrfl The Kimball Art Center is almost a year old. Have you enjoyed the facility? Are you a member? i " - f ::e f f i I Wayne Matthews, City Manager I'm not a member, but I think it's a very good facility for Park City. It's been received very well. My wife has taken several classes there that she's really appreciated. Janet Larsen, neice of Fred Eley of Eley's garage No, I've never been inside. I go by it 50 times a day, but never think to go inside. It's terrible, really. I've heard a lot of good comments, but a lot of things there are too expensive. I'm going to get in there one of these days. Tina Lewis, President of the Kimball Art Guild and a member of Kimball Art Center Board of Trustees Of course I'm a member of the Kimball Art Center. Everyone should be! This has been an eventful year for the Art Center, especially with the formation of the Guild last May. I feel that we have come a long way towards community involvement, with the activities, meetings, and fund-, raising projects that the Guild has sponsored so far. I would like to see in the coming year more attempts to broaden the programming program-ming so that visits to the Kimball Art Center will become a regular part of everyone's life. . & J i , - it to m l 0 . I'm upset a little that more people don't value Kimball Art Center. As more physical developments surround the Art Center, it'll play a more prominent role in the community. I think they should stress more plays in the outdoor plaza area, and also small impromptu musical group; it would show the versatility of the Art Center. Pat Barnes, interior decorator for Design Coalition I've taken a couple of Art classes and I'm taking yoga now. I really think it's a very classy Art Center and I'm glad to see it's here in Park City. It's an asset to the people. Kathy Kahn, secretary at Jerry Perrine Associates I enjoy it and think it's a tremendous plus for the community. commun-ity. I have taken classes there. The reason I'm not a member is because I'm waiting for them to become a little bit better organized. |
